Faith and Doctrine

The Catholic Apostolic Church Europe lives from the faith of the one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church. Our faith is founded upon Sacred Scripture, Apostolic Tradition, and the living life of the Church through the centuries.

We profess

Jesus Christ is the Lord and Savior of the world.

The Church is the Body of Christ, guided by the Holy Spirit.

The sacraments are holy signs of God’s grace.

Apostolic succession unites us with the ministry of the Apostles.

Bond with the tradition of Antioch

We recognize in the ancient Church of Antioch, and especially in the Patriarchate of Antioch, a precious treasure of Apostolic Tradition. Patriarch Ignatius Aphrem II is respected and honored by us as an important guardian of ecclesial tradition.

We wish to build bridges rather than walls in the spirit of Christ’s love, and we pray for the unity of all Christians.

Our mission

to proclaim the Word of God;

to administer the sacraments worthily;

to serve the poor, the sick, and those in need;

to accompany families and communities pastorally and spiritually.

Everything is done “for the glory of God and the salvation of humankind.”
